Previously, the circus was located inside a small wooden building. In the 60s, the building was demolished and the House of Political Education appeared in its place. This building now houses the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
1976 year
The most unusual building of the Soviet period is the Circus. It was built by the joint efforts of the Moscow Central Research Institute of Experimental Design and Frunzegorproekt.
Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan
The circus opened its doors to spectators in 1976.
The circus building turned out to be experimental by the standards of that time by its alien saucer like construction. At the top of the building, there is a prefabricated dome without columns supporting it, and the auditorium is assembled from reinforced concrete folds resembling folds.
